[edit] Work Experience

Between my undergraduate and master's degrees I worked in IT for about 7 years. First, I did things related to an electronic medical record for a psychiatric emergency service (user support, data analysis, report generation). Then I did data analysis and software development for a company that tried to improve patient care and get doctors to spend less money on patients. If you want to know more about that you can watch the Frontline episode about my former company.

I also had a 3 year stint as a housewife, much of it in sunny Manchester, which, as one might expect, was a lot more fun than having a job :-)
