Welcome

Our lab is interested in structural biology (protein and RNA structure), systems biology and synthetic biology.

Our focus on RNA concerns the design and implementation of new algorithms, often based on thermodynamics, to understand how the sequence and structure of RNA molecules can evolve, how to computationally predict conformational switches, and how to design new molecules with specified properties. We are interested in motif detection, kinetics of folding, and RNA-protein interfaces. Additional interests include proteomics, mass spectrometry, and machine learning applications in bioinformatics.
